This is my personal opinion these home b/p monitors are a waste of time and money the readings and the repeatability are suspect and do not correspond with drs.office and CVS monitor readings. There is no way to calibrate the machine all my readings were high on the systolic top number by as much as 30 points and this was after numerous tests and retests . I even compared readings with other b/p monitors with no luck I didn’t find them repeatable either. I hate to be negative but my background was in quality control where repeatability and accuracy are number 1. Also I wasn’t cheaping out I would pay more money for a machine that was accurate and reliable and repeatable!!

A great product. Simple to use. Reliable. Durable. (I’ve dropped it a few times and it keeps ticking).We were on a trans-Pacific flight recently. A woman collapsed to the floor. Several medical passengers rushed to assist, as did an airline steward with an attache case full of medical supplies. He struggled to get the blood pressure machine working. At my wife’s suggestion, I opened my carry-on bag, took out my Omrom and gave it to the two doctors treating the passengers. They took one look at the Omron, set aside the airline’s blood pressure machine and used my Omron to track the passenger’s blood pressure.

Monitor Your Heart Problems Yourself
Four Month Update: Afib is under control due, in part to the combination of the BPM and the kardiamobile providing good feedback as we adjusted meds.Two Month Update: Getting 0E5 errors 30% of the time, triggered by Afib, low heart rate, and/or low blood pressure. I can switch arms and it still won’t read. I have to use my old Lazle and KardiaMobile to get readings. I’ve quit using the ECG reader on my Apple watch because it gives me consistent error results.One Week Update: Took three readings on each arm with Omron, all 0E5 indicating pressure too low to measure. Switched to Lazle monitor and got two readings showing 77/49 with afib. I find the latter monitor more useful. Also just ordered the KardioMobile so that my ECG values can be charted in the Omron phone app.Original Review: I have to monitor my blood pressure because I have afib and low blood pressure. Thus it’s ironic that Omron uses both conditions to not report blood pressure. Half of all readings on the first day gave me a 0 e5 error, indicating my pressure was too low to measure. After repeated attempts, and switching to my right arm, I finally got it to measure 78/66. Surprisingly, it gave me a blood pressure reading while I was in afib on the second day.The first Omron I bought was the platinum but, by design, it refused to give a blood pressure reading when I was in afib. I returned it but my cardiologist would not trust the readings from my reliable Lazle so I had to order another Omron. This time I ordered the silver model to minimize cost on something that was going to be a problem to use. I know how to sit and be still when taking bp (same as getting a hair cut). My upper arm is 13″, absolutely normal.I also spent a couple of hours synching and unsynching the monitor with my phone, only to have it repeated display data from somewhere dated 8 months ago and not show current readings. After sitting overnight, it started synching. I also set it to share blood pressure and heart rate with Apple Health on my iPhone but not to have access to the data collected by my Apple Watch.I recently wore a holter monitor for a week and it showed me in afib only one day while my cuff and watch showed daily afib readings. We are repeating the holter test but now I’ll have data to show what I’m seeing and feeling from my end.I also attached three charts I keep in photos on my phone so that I can interpret the significance of the readings. My problems are more influenced by high diastolic pressure and wide pulse pressure than systolic measurements.Hope you find this helpful as none of these explanations came from my doctor.

Very good blood pressure monitor
Got this blood pressure monitor to replace an older Omron monitor that had developed problems. It appears to be very accurate and has an app that tracks results and averages the last several readings. It also records your pulse and notes irregular heart beats. It is a very good moderately priced BP monitor.

Glad I upgraded
I had a previous version of this BP machine for 20 years and it was time for an upgrade. This monitor is fantastic. After downloading the app it keeps track of my readings and makes it easy to share the data with my doctor. I wish I would have updated my machine sooner.

A very fine device. My last Bp monitor was also an Omron which stopped working after it got wet but this is a better product as the cuff is more rigid and more easily placed around the upper arm.

Very accurate blood pressure monitor.
Ordered for a birthday gift for a friend. Her B/P was running high. This monitor probably saved her life as it indicated irregular heart beats. Therefore she is having a cardiac workup this week.Very easy to use, easy to read and Omron is a brand my doctor recommended.

I purchased this due to apparent inconsistencies between my Doctor’s readings and my other brand monitor. Turns out that the Omron machine gives almost exactly the same readings as my other machine…Unless by some chance both machines are inaccurate by the same amount, I’d say that this is a good indication of accuracy. I will, if course, compare this monotor to the pharmacy monitor.The cuff is really a joy to use as it automatically wraps around your arm, then you just secure it with the velcro flap. Very easy to do with one hand.Readings are quick and quiet, and once the reading is on the display the numbers will be transferred to the app via the Bluetooth connection, so that you have an automatic history to review, or share with your Doctor.I really like this monitor, and I would recommend it

This is the same device my family doctor uses at his office so bought it. The app work nicely. Synch up with my android phone via Bluetooth quickly. The arm cup is sturdy and secure when placed on my upper arm. I am a male and have about 15 inches around upper arm when straight and the cup fits fine. But if you have much bigger arm then you might feel tightness. The device is quite when in operation. Measures quick. All readings are very legible and clear. The entire unit is compact and can easily stored. Much nicer than my previous unit I bought from Shoppers Drug mart.

Omron Products never dissapointed, have been using the same BP Monitor for the last 15 years; even that older model still working great, just the cuff needed replacement , but unfortunaely, dicontinued; that’s the only reason purchased the newer model and like it.
