Great Combination of Mushrooms
I have been searching for a mushroom supplement for over a year. I tried gummies and saw/felt no results. Since initially finding and then really digging 2nd Springs Wellness, I have jumped on this supplement. I am pleased with the effects I have received from this product. As with any supplement, without formal testing, a regular person can’t actually prove something is working. I took 1 bottle and felt really good about it. I waited on ordering a second bottle and then started to feel like I was missing something. I ordered another bottle, and got right on it, I am back to feeling much more alert in the morning. I am very happy with this complex, and it is a staple part of my morning routine.

Cut with magnesium oxide
You get 120 capsules, each containing 200mg of magnesium in the form of an unspecified mixture of magnesium bisglycinate and magnesium oxide (you have to take 2 to get the advertised 400mg). Unfortunately, magnesium oxide is almost useless as a supplement (it’s included because it’s much cheaper), and there’s no indication on the label as to what percentage is bisglycinate and what percentage is the oxide.So, I popped open a capsule and weighed the contents, and got 1.26 grams. 200mg of magnesium in the form of magnesium bisglycinate weighs 1.41 grams. With a little bit of math, you can work out that at least 15% of the magnesium must be magnesium oxide. The vast majority of the powder did dissolve in water, and magnesium oxide doesn’t, so that percentage seems plausible.So this appears to be a reasonable magnesium supplement, I just wish they would skip the useless oxide or at least be transparent about how much of it they’re putting in.

Switched from mushroom coffee to capsules
I’ve been drinking mushroom coffee for months now and I love the benefits, however, I miss my coffee! I’m enjoying these capsules from 2nd springs, and I feel like it is made me a little sharper. Probably because of the larger variety of different mushrooms that this formula has over the coffee. I love that it’s all organic and there’s no aftertaste. Highly recommend!

Bad smell, huge pills
I unfortunately can’t take this supplement. I was astounded to see how large the pills were and the horrific smell when I opened the bottle has me staggering. These should have been 2 a day capsules. I gave them 3 stars instead of 1 because I contacted the company via email on their website to ask if they could be cut in half and they responded (answer: yes they can) within 10 minutes. Excellent customer service! I can’t get over the smell though. I know I’d be able to taste them if I tried to take them and bad things would probably happen. Cutting them in half only makes it stronger.
