Makes a huge difference.
I moved from a place that had well water with a softening system to city water and my hair paid the price. It became brittle, dry and frizzy, and I was losing handfuls. I bought this water softener in the hopes that it would help and it did not disappoint. The first time using it, I noticed a difference. My hair was softer and less tangly. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and my hair just keeps getting more manageable. My skin feels softer as well. The installation was super easy and the price was great. I moved to a new city in Northern California from a different city in Northern California (with a new water source) three years ago and basically overnight developed terrible skin issues. For three years I have tried nearly everything to resolve the dry flaky itchy irritable skin on my legs and face to no avail. I honestly couldn’t believe how terrible my skin felt, always tight, itchy, ingrown hairs when I shaved my legs. Acne on my face. I felt like my skin stopped allowing my hair to grow through and basically became like a closed capsule over my body. Every follicle basically became an inflamed issue.Sorry to go into so much detail, but I was being driven mad by this change in my skin and searched for years for a fix- with different moisturizers, salicylic acid , ahas, body oils, you name it I tried it. I had basically given up hope and couldn’t figure out what happened to my skin. Then I stumbled upon a post online that mentioned how hard water can affect sensitive skin and that some people with skin issues might benefit from a water filter on their shower. So I figured what the hell. I had had a pimple here out there before. But this new situation left my body covered in boils and ingrown hairs and I was desperate for a solution.I bought this filter despite some negative reviews because I liked the price point. I’ve been using it for a week, and the install was not difficult. At first it leaked water, but I took it off and added more plumbers tape and it worked fine. No more leaks, water pressure is fine.When I tell you that instantly in my first shower I knew something was different. My shampoo soaped different, I barely need any compared to before to create a lather.My hair is so shiny and soft now. And after a few days, my skin started peeling and appears to be recovering from whatever was affecting me before. I felt like I molted my weird dry skin and my face is healing. I am no longer itchy, and I am not feeling like I have to slather myself in lotion.Long story short. If you are on your last hope and searching for something to try to help with your skin issues- it’s been life changing for me. I did go online and look at the water report for my city to make sure this filter took out the worst offenders in my water. I would highly recommend looking at your water report before deciding which filter to buy- just to make sure it will have the positive affect you desire.I highly recommend this filter and would honestly buy it again and again because my results are incredible.

I’ve had this filter installed for about a month with a rain shower head, and so far I’m really happy with it. Installation was quick and easy — I did it myself in just a few minutes. The filter looks great and feels sturdy, and switching to it didn’t cause any drop in water pressure at all (my last shower head installation did, so this was a big relief).Functionality-wise, it’s been solid. I immediately noticed I’m not getting the usual hard water marks on my shower glass anymore, which makes cleaning so much easier. My main reason for buying it was to help with dandruff and scalp buildup from hard water. I still have some issues there, but it’s only been a month, so I’m hoping to see more results with continued use.Overall, very happy with this purchase — easy to install, works well, and no pressure loss.Great value for the money! Nearly the best rated water filter on the market for an exceptionally great price!!I forgot to mention that it came packaged very nicely and had everything you need for the install. I was very impressed with how it was packaged in the boxes and the extra o-ring filters, lots of plumbers tape, the wrench was very basic so I used my own but definitely could have used everything it came with.

Defective Unit – Keeps Bursting Open Despite Professional Installation
I’ve used AquaBliss shower filters before and had a great experience, but this one has been a huge disappointment. I even had a professional plumber install it to ensure everything was set up correctly, yet the filter keeps bursting open at the middle seam, spraying water everywhere.Despite checking and tightening it multiple times, the issue persists. Today, I made sure everything was secure before turning on the water, but it still came apart. On top of that, water is now leaking from the bolt that connects the filter to my shower faucet.I have another AquaBliss filter installed at my parents’ house that has worked perfectly for nearly five years, so I know this isn’t normal. Unfortunately, this unit seems defective. I was hoping for the same quality, but instead, I’ve had nothing but frustration. I wouldn’t recommend this one unless the design flaw is fixed.Update: AquaBliss is sending a replacement. I love when companies stand behind their products.

Easy to install. You’ll notice water quality improvement immediately! Surprisingly easy on the eyes. We bought both chrome and matte silver matching our different bathroom decor.

Felt the difference immediately, i have a filter Shower head also Not from Aquabliss, but from a local brand, its not great but does the job. BUT the Aquabliss is incredible, now i can relax and take a shower, My hair has a new shine and is growing in thick. Been using for 2 months.

Creo que le falta algo muy importante que es la certificación NSF/ANSI 177, que establece que por lo menos elimine el 50% del cloro en el agua para 25000 galones. Si ni siquiera tiene este certificado, quiere decir que el porcentaje de eliminacion de cloro es mucho mas bajo, y por lo tanto para qué adquirir este producto?Otros puntos:El producto viene con cinta teflon y repuestos.Mas alla de que no tenga certificación, desde mi experiencia personal no he notado mejoras notables en la calidad del agua.Si hubiese sabido de la falta de certificacion, no lo hubiese comprado, cometí el error de guiarme por opiniones (todas las opiniones solo son percepciones de que pudo haber mejorado el agua) que carecen de mediciones cuantitativas de cuanto ha mejorado la calidad del agua.La unica forma de saber si funciona el filtro es con una certificacion que asegure que se cumplen los requerimientos minimos de filtrado.Unicamente recomiendo si buscan algo aceptable y dentro de un rango de precios bajo. Tampoco recomiendo filtros con vitamina C, en realidad no filtran los quimicos o sedimentos, solo elimina parte del cloro y arroja agua con vitamina C para suavizar la piel junto con todos los quimicos nocivos que hay en el agua.
