Perfect pitcher
This is a perfect filtering water pitcher. It is well designed and easy to handle. Once the filter breaks in it filters very quickly. The filters last a very long time so this is quite cost effective. It even has a built in light to tell you when a filter needs replacing. Last, but certainly not least, the taste of the filtered water is excellent. I highly recommend this product.

What an instant difference TASTE PERFECT
I cannot believe how crystal clear this water is! These pictures are not doctored or different glasses. You can see it in the pitcher itself. The color is clear as a bright diamond. It filters fairly fast but I rather the slower the better so this is fine. This size is just right as I have arthritis and hard to lift. I love the blue filter & every time I pour it lights to keep track of my usages. I’m happy I just stuck with the BRITA. I live in Ct always a tap water person but it’s been tasting horrible, that I couldn’t drink it & if it sits it tastes worse. Then I notice the color is tan. Not sure old pipes of course water company doesn’t own up to it. I do not like bottled water. I am very very HAPPY WITH THIS BRITA. JUST HAVE TO KEEP UP WITH IT. I had put the water in plastic bottles so all may have contributed to bad taste. I HAD A huge empty 1.7 liter glass bottle from my JOHNNY WALKER removed labels and it has a handle to pour Its perfect to put water in refrig. Glass on LEFT IS THE BRITA WATER. CLEAR. RIGHT is direct from faucet.

Nice pitcher, but I may die of thirst while waiting for it to filter.
We have a well that produces very good tasting water, but does contain minerals that seem to eventually kill all of our appliances. We purchased this Brita pitcher with Elite filter to take the place of gallon jugs of spring water that we use to fill our Breville Barista Touch coffee maker and our Euhomy countertop ice maker (both are awesome and recommend both). This is a nice and simple water pitcher. There are four parts to this pitcher: lid, filtering reservoir, Elite filter, and clear plastic pitcher. This is very easy to take apart, change filters, and clean. The lid has a round hinged pop-up lid that opens by pressing a thumb button on the top of the lid near the pitcher handle. The pitcher also has a button under the lid that you press during set up that provides a green, yellow, or red filter life indicator light when pouring the water. Filling the filtering reservoir once will filter enough water to fill the pitcher approximately 1/2 way full. The instructions say that you need to fill and dump the pitcher three times after adding a new filter–this must be some kind of filter priming process. I do like this pitcher and how well it filters the water. I can definitely tell the difference between the unfiltered vs filtered well water–so I know for a fact that the Elite filter works. My only slight complaint is that this pitcher takes what seems like forever to fill–probably due to the super-mega filtering ability of the Elite filter. I haven’t actually timed it but mine seems to take probably 8-10 minutes to filter–and at least double that if you fill it for a second time in order to completely fill the pitcher. So worst case scenario, if I want to fill the coffee maker, the ice maker, and then have a full pitcher full of cold water to on reserve in the refrigerator, it would take me about a 1/2 hour because i have to fill and filter the filter reservoir six times. Therefore, for us, it is a must to keep the refrigerator pitcher full at all times to cut down on the filtering wait time.We drink a lot of ice water. If I was looking for something as my family’s primary water source, then I would probably go with one of the large square or rectangle refrigerator jugs with the pour spout. Otherwise, it is a nice pitcher, it just takes a long time to fill–but the water is super filtered when complete.I recommend this product.

CLEAR TASTY WATER
I love the size. It makes my water taste great. It’s easy to use. It’s easy to clean. I purchased a less expensive brand of filters on Amazon. I will replace the filters every six weeks instead of every two months to make sure my water stays clean. I use a lot of water for coffee drinks and iced tea. We buy our water at a water store. I purchased this so we wouldn’t go through water as quickly because it is my husband’s least favorite chore to perform. He now makes fewer trips and is happier about it. A side note, I boil my water in a water boiler that I bought here on amazon. There is no residue left over that I would have with unfiltered water watch which means that the filter is working.

Our tap water tastes so much better.
This works great. Our tap water was OK but we bought a lot of bottled water. Now with this Brita Water Pitcher and the filter our water from the tap, after it is filtered, tastes so much better.

Great customer service & water tastes great
First of all, their customer service is impeccable – the indicator light on my pitcher stopped working, so I was no longer being told when my filter was close to being replaced, I called their customer service & they helped me through the troubleshooting process which ultimately didn’t work – so they ended up sending me a whole new pitcher free of charge! Great company & a great product. I feel like i’m really being kind to the environment by not buying single use plastic bottles anymore. The water tastes absolutely delicious.

Brittle Plastic Pitcher but good filter
I like the Brita system, though I feel it is expensive. We are on a well and the water fizzes better in my soda machine after filtering in my Brita pitcher. I purchased my first pitcher at a store and upon opening found the pour spout chipped to about half the size it had been. It did not affect the pour ability but was annoyingly rough. The second pitcher I purchased thru Amazon. It was cracked when I opened it. It is above the waterline so I am using it anyway. Brita needs to make their pitchers more durable!!!!!! $35 is a lot of money for a plastic pitcher. Especially if it is broken!

The idea to go for Elite is no more frequent filter replacement. But it’s meaningless if the indicator doesn’t work. The indicator light was completely off after less than 3 months (most likely end of battery life).
