Great water bottle! Strongly recommend if your child needs a clear bottle for school.
My child is required to have a “clear” water bottle for school. After spending 40+ on one of the expensive, insulated, name brand bottles he came home saying he needed something else. I searched for this in a frenzy and it met all my requirements except being insulated obviously. It has a built in straw, cap that is easy to open and snaps over the mouth opening to deter germs, is easy to clean, holds enough water to last him a day at school, and has been dropped about a million times already and you would never know. Side note- that expensive name brand one I mentioned earlier broke the first time it was dropped. I will be a repeat customer if this one ever wears out.

My favorite water bottles
We have 4 or 5 of these water bottles. I love that they can be locked and have a cover, and don’t require a straw. I like the squeeze button mechanism. I have carpal tunnel and can’t be unscrewing a lid multiple times a day. They fit in cupholders and are a good size. 24oz lasts a while but isn’t so big it weighs me down. We’ve had some for years and they’ve been on many road trips and flights. Very sturdy and bonus, they don’t spray you with water when you open them after pressurization on a flight. They’re very good value especially if you catch a sale. I like that they don’t give water a funny taste the way stainless steel can.

After loads of searching, this is ideal
This is the perfect water bottle for me. I cannot stand straws, and I don’t like small openings in my bottles. I have had it a Contigo bottle for over 25 years and wanted to stick to the same brand. The price was outstanding, it is easy to drink from yet it will not spill if it tips over because of the seal at the opening. It is not insulated, which is ideal for me because I do not like cold water.

Drink in bed
The design of this bottle allows you to drink while reclining without spilling, so it’s perfect for a patient who can’t sit up, or perfect for someone like me who drinks in the middle of the night. Sometimes I have arthritis flares that might make it very hard to sit up and drink, so I leave a bottle on the bed next to me. It works great and is simple to drink from, with a good flow that I don’t have to suck to make the water come out, even if lying on my side. I’ve never had need for the locking switch but I can see it would be helpful if throwing the bottle in a bag. You still need to press the button to get it to flow, so the need for the switch would be pretty rare imo.The 24 ounce is a good size that’s borderline too tall but the narrowness means it would fit in any cup holder. I got mine for about $12 or $13, which was a great buy. I’m back to buy another and it’s gone up to about $14 or $15 but I think it’s worth it. I’ve had mine about 6 months and love love it. I’m getting a 2nd one so in case they ever discontinue it, I’ll have a spare.

We on over 12 Contigo cups and they are above and beyond the finest most durable drink cups available today. These are great cups for use in a bedroom or if you want to take a sip of something in the middle of the night but don’t want to spill it down the front of you.

Don’t put the lid in the dishwasher
I love that these bottles are genuinely spoil free– you less a button when you drink, so you dint have to twist or flip anything open. You also don’t have to worry about accidentally not closing it all the way and then knocking it over. You can take a drink with one hand. I don’t understand how this is not the standard way water bottles are made.The only downside is that the lids are a pain to clean, and not just because you have to do it by hand. They have a lot of little parts in them. But if you put then in the dishwasher, they break and the whole bottle is useless. The bottles themselves are durable, but it is impossible to replace the lids. So you end up having to toss the whole thing because a tiny part comes loose on the lid if your water is too hot.

Really Airtight/Watertight
I’m going on a river cruise in the spring and needed a sturdy and watertight water bottle. Based on reviews and the way it worked with one hand, I chose the Contigo Autoseal Cortland bottle. I live at 5,000′ elevation, and when I first took the bottle out of the box, I flipped open the exterior lid and pressed the button to release the interior lid. I could hear air escaping to equalize the air pressure. If it is airtight, I know it is watertight. I love being able to release the seal with one hand while I lift it up. Thanks.

BEST water bottle – leakproof and convenient
LOVE this water bottle — wish I had bought somthing like this years ago. The leakproof features are perfectly effective without being too cumbersome. I love that I can just press the button to take a sip, and then fully lock everything when I’m traveling with it. Highly recommend!

I really like this brand and the auto seal mechanism, no leaks, you can lock it for extra safety.Very durable, you would lost it before this breaking :)It is hard to find a 40oz water bottle that works this well.Easy to clean (see video) 🙂
