Easy to install and has the required RFID label. Not much of an instruction leaflet.Be mindful that the manufacturer recommends discarding the first 2 gallons of water and to dispense them in 30 second intervals with 30 seconds in between,

Fit perfectly. Snapped right in and no leaks. Ran some water through and now it’s clear and tastes good. Much cheaper than the GE filter.

Fits, Works and less $$
These work and have the required ‘chip’ that GE has added to make our lives more difficult. I do wish the ‘arrow’ on the cartridge was larger as, even putting on my glasses it was hard to find. But, in the end, I got it in the compartment, pushed, turned and voila! Quality, value both good. Design – please make the arrow LARGE.

Perfect XWFE Replacement for my GE Side-by-side
I have been looking for a “replacement” for my current XWFE filter in my GE side-by-side refrigerator and thought I would give this a shot since it said it has the “built-in CHIP” because I am tired of paying $50 or more and this went in perfectly and is working GREAT!!! It set my filter back to green right away and showed the status at 100 right away. I will be purchasing again for sure and not looking anywhere else!!!!
