Communicates fine with my Garmin Edge 840, even when worn on the wrist. I ended up replacing the band to one that attached fit better https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPV3W94N?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 that came in a two pack.

Very Pleasantly Surprised !
WOW! Very impressed with the unit!! We had an opportunity to test it side by side with a MEDICAL GRADE EKG for just under an hour. The results were in fact equal to or within 1 BPM! Even the max heart rate for the entire session was within 1 BPM! We tried other units and they either would not pair or their readings were way off. We are just hopeful that the battery continues to be “chargeable” and the unit itself continues its’ accuracy and remains operational. IF someone else is able to test it as we did, be sure to let units settle in before comparing readings. Some units need “x” seconds of heartbeats to give a reading. We would certainly recommend the unit.

Solid Bluetooth connection to my devices.
Connects easily to my Edge 830 and Wahoo Kickr. Very comfortable, charges quickly and lasts for many hours of riding. Well worth the cost. Time will tell if it lasts more than six months, like my $90 Polar chest strap.

Only 3 Stars Because 1st One Quit (read review)
The 1st Cycplus Armband HRM worked fine FOR ONE DAY, then went wonky on me. Amazon replaced right away, and the replacement has worked just fine (2+ weeks now). Paired just fine with my Garmin Edge 1040. I acquired this armband model b/c I started taking a beta-blocker, and that interfered with signals to my traditional chest strap HRM. Battery life seems to be good, I think they promise ~100 hours; I’ve worn it on a number of 2-3 hour bike rides since getting the replacement, and having it on at home and on walks, too, and still on the original charge. So…giving it 3 stars b/c of the 1st item, but so far 5 stars on the replacement.

The unit seems to be well made and I like the “stretchable” arm band. The issue (which other buyers identified) is connecting the unit to my phone (Samsung S25+) with my Peleton app.
