If you receive Gaia Guy’s pet toothbrushes by mistake, please contact me on Amazon, social media @higaiaguy, or on my site so I can make this right. I will always strive to serve my customers who support sustainable solutions. Amazon really mixed up this recent shipment, and I can’t get them to fix it.
YOUR SEARCH FOR A TOTALLY NATURAL BRISTLE TOOTHBRUSH IS OVER!
Gaia Guy knew our zero waste customers and friends wanted a truly planet-based solution. Let’s face it as nice as nylon is we don’t need to use to brush our teeth. Boar bristles have been used for centuries and are still used in many brushes so it just makes sense to use these hygienic and less abrasive natural fiber bristles. The bristles are either sheared and used or often are saved from the landfill after boars have been dispatched for meat purposes. You are saving these natural boar hair bristles from creating methane gases. Thank you!

► A solid, smooth and gorgeous piece of bamboo. Not laminate so no glue here.
► Boar bristles also contain no glue and a stuck straight into the handle.
► Paper packaging which is compostable, recyclable and totally reusable so give it another life.
Finally a way to start and finish your day without dreading the inevitable plastic discard that comes every few months with regular toothbrushes. Get your Bamboo & Boar Bristle Toothbrush 6-pack today.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a totally natural product and as such it doesn’t act like plastic toothbrushes. As you can see from the feedback, some bristles come out as the natural bamboo brush is getting sort of set to climate and moisture.
Bamboo expands in humid air and can then contract when it gets dry. Do not buy if you aren’t able to simply remove a few bristles from your mouth that may fall out. However, if you can stay the sustainable course and keep brushing then it seems to find a balance and you can brush away as vigorously as you like.

100% BIODEGRADABLE: No nylon (ie petroleum) in this toothbrush. Finally a completely earth-friendly natural bristle bamboo toothbrush. For those who want a totally planet-based product to go with their zero waste and sustainable lifestyle. No nylon means no petroleum and you can feel good about tossing this into the woods, burying it in your compost or upcycling into a plant marker or anything your creative mind can think of.
RENEWABLE RESOURCES: Gaia Guy is proud to offer a bamboo handle and boar bristle toothbrush. It’s the ultimate natural and renewable resource based toothbrush to help you start and finish every day feeling good about your commitment to living as close to nature as you possibly can.
ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING: Just like Gaia Guy’s vegan-friendly bamboo toothbrush you are getting a quality toothbrush with great reviews and minimal and compostable eco-friendly packaging. Actually this paper-tube is a handy little pencil case or get creative and reuse! No non-woven packaging either these are just 6 beautiful boar bristle toothbrushes in a paperboard tube.
BEAUTIFUL BOAR BRISTLES: A truly sustainable way to brush your teeth. These natural boar bristle toothbrushes come from a special breed of boar. The bristles are carefully harvested and then boiled to make them straighter and super hygienic.
CLEAN & GREEN: These are less abrasive than nylon bristles which means your teeth get clean but you don’t ruin your tooth enamel. These black bristles are about the same as medium nylon toothbrush as far as firmness goes. You get a good cleaning while not scratching or hurting your gums. Gaia Guy’s Bamboo and Boar bristle natural toothbrush will not only make your smile better, but the planet better too.

    Great product, made with care.
I really love this product. This is a very great nontoxic swap for anyone who is looking to do that. All clean material that this toothbrush is made with. And no, the bristles do not hurt my mouth nor gums at all. The bristles are durable just as the handle as well. This is worth the money as it is actually made with no plastic, not even the actual container it comes in. Its appearance is pretty average, it’s just a bamboo handle that is straight with no grooves and a logo at the bottom engraved. Id say it’s slightly heavier than that of an average plastic toothbrush, but is the same size and that doesn’t effect its use negatively. Only thing I can say that may be negative is a few of the bristles do shed in the beginning of use, but nothing dramatic or significant. Overall, I recommend this product to everyone and think that it is a good swap for the typical plastic made toothbrushes.

    Good brush, but sheds
June 2020:Pro: The handle is very comfortable The bristles are not soft, more hard/medium. Bristles get softer with time. Teeth feel well brushed.Con: The bristles shed and spread out early. It seems that the bristles won’t last long. This is my first time using a Boar Bristles, so I’m not sure if this is normal.April: 2021:I have used all of the brushes. The pack lasted me 10 months. I changed the brush about every 2 months, instead of the plastic 3 month because the bristles do wear down more than the plastic alternative. This should be expected: it is made of hair, not plastic. Each new brush does shed during the first use, but considering that the product is biodegradable and prevents yet another plastic brush entering the landfill, it’s worth a couple hairs in my mouth. Honestly, some brushes shed one hair and others shed four. It’s a minor nuisance. I purchased another pack and plan to use them moving forward because they are good quality. As far as I know, this is the only toothbrush that is completely compostable.Note: I went to the dentist last month and was praised for my oral health. Prior to the boar brushed, I used a cheap electric toothbrush. I’ve always taken care of my teeth, but this was one of the few times I was complemented by a dental professional. These brushes paired with eco friendly floss have helped me maintain my oral health just as well (if not better) than plastic products.

    Good toothbrushes
These are actually pretty good! I was a little hesitant on buying them and reading the previous reviews. I can’t stand hair in my mouth and it’s worse being pregnant! Haha I will say it sheds the bristles in the beginning but I haven’t noticed it does it anymore after a couple uses. The Bristles start hard, run it under hot water and they soften up. They don’t hurt my gums while brushing. I like they are eco-friendly and no plastic. I let them air dry and haven’t noticed any mold or problems with the bamboo. Worth the money

    Planning on buying again
So I’ve been using these toothbrushes for a while and I got to say I really really like them they’re not perfect you know sometimes the bristle like one or two of them will come out of the toothbrush while you’re brushing your teeth but they’re soft on my gums I don’t feel the need to press as a firm or as hard as I would with the store-bought toothbrushes and my teeth feel cleaner longer and I’ve only been using this thing for a few months and it’s a huge difference My teeth feel cleaner longer and I haven’t changed my toothpaste it just feels like they do a better job at removing the gunk from your teeth without needing to use as much force or any plastic material Plus they’re also very light and according to my Dad dogs really like them lol I gave him one of them and she got a hold of it lol

Sent Me to Urgent Care. Do Not Buy!!!
Used the whole pack, and experienced some shedding on each tooth brush just like other reviews say. Just felt like a hair in my mouth that I could easily pull out. Finally on my last tooth brush, a bristle ended up getting stuck in my throat and lodged behind my tonsil. After trying to get it out at home for nearly an hour, I had to go to urgent care where they also struggled to get it out. They ended up getting it after a lot of gagging and tears. Needless to say, I think the manufacturers need to figure out a way to keep the bristles from shedding. This could be a huge issue and I’m lucky we didn’t have to go to the ER for sedation to remove it. I do not recommend people purchase this item.

Bristles little too long/ too soft
Hairs are just a little too long and get way too soft after wet and warm.

    Simple. Natural. Durable.
I bought these for my kids, because I don’t want plastic in their mouths. They’re well-made and the bristles rarely fall out. They’re simple, which is exactly what I wanted. They are more work than plastic brushes: I dry them with a hairdryer after each use and occasionally spray them with vinegar to prevent mold. But there’s no away around that without using plastic or a wood finish.I wish there were smaller versions for kids. I use a Japanese razor saw and file to make small brushes for my 2-year old and 5-year old.

Arrived more than a week earlier than scheduled, so full marks to the seller. Everything was in order. The product itself, fully satisfied. Wood and bristles, simple as. Tried it immediately. Head a little smaller than I’m usually used to but you adapt. Bristles are not rough at all and did their job. Easy to clean and use, and no (known) harmful ingredients. Will get another once they’re near used up (6 toothbrushes and you can use each for up to 5-8 weeks, so one pack lasts a long while).

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!I’m not usually one to write reviews as I rarely make the time, but these toothbrushes/brand absolutely deserve it! :)I love them!My teeth and gums have never felt better! The bristle thickness is just perfect!I’ll admit, I was a little nervous at first about using boar hair, but I knew I couldn’t go back to plastic.Plastic toothbrushes used to cut my gums and gave me ulcers… but since switching to these boar hair toothbrushes, that’s all in the past.I feel free from the toxins of plastic, and my oral health has truly improved.I highly recommend these boar hair toothbrushes and genuinely hope they continue to be available.I’m a customer for life, there’s no turning back!Sidenote: Only Sometimes the hairs come out, but that’s really no big deal, just be gentle with brushing, and it is expected and nothing like the amount of bristles that were coming out of the plastic toothbrushes I was using. Besides, I’d prefer to swallow boar hair than plastic! Thanks for selling these awesome boar bristle toothbrushes, they really are fantastic! 🙂
