Big and Weird
I needed to increase my water intake for health reasons, so decided to get one big bottle I could fill in the morning and sip from all day. This BIG bottle serves that basic need. BUT…The straw is weird. It has a strange funnel-like end-cap and a second rubbery end. Without the end-cap the straw is too short. Even with both parts attached it’s a bit short, but usable. The rubbery part seems made so you can squish the straw down so the top can be closed. Functionally, I’d rather have either had a properly sized straw and a wider top that closed around it, or something more like a sports bottle with a straw that feels integrated into the bottle. Basically I never screw the cap on because it’s just too annoying, so the attached top is also just annoying.The straw cracked within the first year, so I had to buy new ones. I found that a thinner 13″ straw was easier to drink from anyway. The cleaning sponge would just fall off the handle when used, so I use a large bottle brush instead. So, I don’t recommend letting the straw, brush, or closable top sway your decision. To me this is just the BIG bottle with a screw on handle, end of story. Everything else is poorly designed.I use it. It’s BIG enough. It’s also weirdly designed.

Ammended Review! Great Water bottle.
I found this large glass water bottle at the perfect price! Seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Comes with a fancy straw and a silicone case to protect your glass. I washed it out and went to use it. First off the lid being a cup, ehh i guess it can work like a cup but really its just a lid nothing special about it, the straw is 3 bits, Kinda wish the top was silicone and squishy maybe the whole straw be silicone one piece would simplify things but mine made a weird noise. Everytime I went to take a sip is sounded like I was getting air, the top connector wouldnt sit flush cause the straw is cut at an angle instead of flat also resulting in the little connector constantly popping off. So I said screw the straw and went to drinking out of the mouth piece, not bad bottles a bit heavy to be tipping over but it works. Its kinda nice the handle is up higher to help with leverage although my spouse doesnt like it that close to his face when hes trying to drink. I get it. Now that ive used it a few times I find that the lid can be a pain to get on and off not enough thread pitch and tightens down too much other times. I cant get the handle to line up on the side cause the thread pitch is odd and lid almost pops off sometimes when im securing it. Ive also been having issues where its started leaking horribly while im trying to drink it. Could be the lids not on properly but I shouldnt have to put a lid on 3-4 times to get it properly secured. Im still not confident it wont leak. Lastly silicone cover is neat, slightly covers the numbers on the bottle but it makes the bottle less stable, the surface for the table to touch the bottom is way too small so its easy to tip over, very worried my pets are gonna break it on me but fingers crossed the glass holds up. Over all a nice bottle with a cool design wish it was less plastic but it does the job. Great buy for the price.After I wrote this review the lid popped off as I was drinking it and poured almost the whole contents of water right in my lap…I do not trust the lid now.Requested a return for a replacement and this bottle seems to be holding up very well! This straw works great the lid turns perfectly into position and bottle hasnt leaked. Still nervous this one will pop off but fingers crossed it wont happen again with the new bottle. I would suggest the company look into putting a few more threads on the glass bottle and lid because one thread is kind of dangerous to be supporting that much weight. Overall would buy again if product was adjusted!
