Stop catching colds
I’ve been using this for years. I take 3 doses a day for 3 days as soon as I feel like I might be catching something. It has never failed me. Maybe it’s all psychological. Maybe it’s the echinacea. I don’t know for sure, but I’ll never stop using it when I feel “off.”

Echinacea really does work.
All my life, I never was able to fight off a cold. It always got so bad, I always had to go to the doctor. I always got so sick and in my teen years and beyond, bronchitis started to become the normal path of the cold. About 15 years ago, my brother told me about Echinacea and I picked up Nature’s Way. I thought, I’ll try it. If it doesn’t work, I’ll just end up at the doctors as always.I took as directed on the bottle, 3 pills 3 times a day. That’s about 1 gram 3 times per day. For the first time in my life, the cold was gone in 2 days without a doctor involved! I went from having bronchitis at least 4 times a year to never seeing a doctor unless it was strep throat (I can tell when it is strep. My throat feels very different). Literally, in the last 15 years, like the flip of a switch, my immune system was strong enough to obliterate colds after never in my life being able to do that without a doctor involved. At the very moment I feel a cold going on, I grab the Echinacea, 1 gram, 3 times a day and within 3 days, its gone. No doctor and more importantly, no bronchitis.I know there’s tons of studies out there that say it doesn’t work. Beware who funds those studies. Also, I find that they don’t use nearly the concentration as what is recommended by Nature’s Way.When my husband got a cold and he had Echinacea for the first time, I said nothing to him about how great it is or about the major controversy, research study after research study, over does it work or doesn’t it. I gave it to him just like vitamin C, but in the dosage recommendation of Nature’s Way. The next day he came home from work and he asked, “What did you give me? The cold is already gone!” I told him about what Echinacea is and does. I advised him to take the Echinacea a few more days. When he goes overseas to visit his family, he brings them the large bottles of OTC pain killers, migraine pills, allergy pills, and Nature’s Way Echinacea.There is the warning though, on every bottle I’ve seen. If you are allergic to Echinacea, or otherwise known as purple cone flower, then keep away. I have tons of allergies to pollen, flowers, trees, etc., luckily I am not allergic to the purple cone flower. It’s native to the area we live in too, so we grow it in our garden where it thrives.All I can say is live and let live. If you believe Echinacea is a farce, don’t use it. I don’t need to convince anybody either way. It works all these years for my family, keeps us away from doctors ($$), and medications (more $$), especially antibiotics and that is all that counts for us.
