Amazing
Great for fasting or just taking in some extra electrolytes in general. I do a scoop for what would be breakfast, lunch, and dinner when fasting or sometimes two. Flavor is minimal with an ever so slight salty taste but barely noticeable and can be added to essentially any liquid. Has helped reduce muscles spasms caused by neuropathy as well. Very solid product

I really like this product! The taste is noticeable when mixed with regular water, but it’s mild and definitely bearable—not too strong. I feel it hydrates me quickly and effectively. I use it every few days to help maintain my hydration levels. I also appreciate that it’s sugar-free and only contains what’s necessary—no extra or unnecessary ingredients. Overall, a great product, even with the slightly odd taste.

For some reason no matter what I did, I would always get some cramp action going on. I’ve started having some electrolytes in a couple of my waters and within a couple of days I quit getting cramps as easily. I’ve started taking this along with D3 and then a multi vitamin and I’m feeling better after about 2-3 weeks of usage.It’s pretty effective and I am wanting to do some extended (3+ day) fasts and this will be extremely helpful with maintaining electrolytes AND not breaking my fast.Taste wise, there really isn’t any.. but it does change the flavor of your water some. It’s kind of like you dripped a little sweat into your puddle water. It took me a couple of days to get used to it in my water (it wasn’t bad, it’s just like drinking a different brand of water that you have to get used to). It actually increased the tastiness of my vanilla protein shake.It mixes perfectly, but I kind of want to try dumping a little scoop in my mouth and chugging some water like I used to with creatine.

I went out on a limb and tried this as I decided I wanted to venture away from sweetened electrolyte drinks. I was nervous it would be really salty and gross. I’m so glad I tried Fast Lyte! Price point is great. I wouldn’t describe it as salty – very mild mineral taste. You could mix with fruit squeeze, but I just mix it with water. I do a lot of high intensity sweaty exercise daily, and this rivals other big name hydration brands like Redmond lytes. I usually add like 2-3 scoops in my 32oz water and It goes down super easy. American made I believe too. Total convert to this! Also added bonus, I feel so much better after ditching all the sweeteners

Good product, pretty expensive and small
The flavor is pretty good for plain electrolytes and it’s pretty high quality, but this package is tiny. I appreciate the quality, but the price is prohibitive.

This is an excellent product. Highly recommended with or without added sugar. Alone it has a slightly salty taste. When it’s mixed with fruit juice, it may not be noticeable at all.I’m an endurance athlete and many electrolyte drinks have way too much sugar and too few electrolytes. This is the perfect solution for me because I can decide how much sugar that I need during the event or for recovery. I recently biked up a 9,000 ft mountain on a mountain bike trail. I burned 4700 calories on the event. I knew that it was going to be a brutal ride up the single track trail. I mixed one tiny scoop of this electrolyte mix with a 2 tablespoons of table sugar (26 grams) for about 100 calories of energy plus electrolytes. That was mixed in my 12 oz water bottle. I had 5 bottles for the entire trip. At the end of my ride, I had no cramps and did not have any muscle soreness the next day. This works!If you’re an endurance athlete (running or biking for hours at a time), you should avoid stevia and other low calorie sweeteners. While they may be OK for weight loss, they are terrible for endurance events. The low calorie sweeteners trick your body into thinking that energy is available, when it is not. This can quickly lead to excessive muscle cramps and event ending fatigue.Bottom line, this raw electrolyte mix is perfect for high performance athletes that understand their nutrition requirements and can use this as part of their hydration routine. The cost with added sweetner is about $0.20-0.25 per serving. That’s about 1/10th the cost of Gator drinks and 1/5th the cost of those little packets or tablets. Such a good deal!

I love that this has no sweetener of any kind and has virtually no flavor (just a slight alkaline taste, like if you drank baking soda in water). Not off-putting at all. I have some every day.

Fantastic product for meeting daily electrolyte needs ! I’m tired of all the sweet options. This has a pleasant light salt taste that I’ve grown to like more than sweetness as I’ve gotten healthier. This has the perfect electrolyte profile that favors potassium (since we tend to consume sodium from our regular foods). Others skimp out on the magnesium or load up on the sodium. I take this first thing in the morning with half a lime and my creatine. If you’re exercising, I’d definitely recommend using another one that favors sodium with some sugar for faster absorption.
