30 minute boner
In 30 minutes you’ll get an erection. It’s a great sign to let you know when it’s kicking in. Doesn’t taste the best but that’s because it’s a fairly large dose compared to others. I’ve noticed a considerable difference in performance when working out. I’m lifting heavier and everyone notices the pump it gives definitely something you want to take before the gym. I’ve been taking it for a month now and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Well done Nutricost I love the Isolate protein, creatine and lions mane options you guys are my favorite brand during my transformative adventure quality products, diverse options at great prices.

This is good quality, neutral tasting L-Arginine at a good price
I just want to address some of the people who say that this tastes “disgusting”! I bought this because the brand I normally use was not available. I use L-Arginine with my chocolate flavored grass fed whey protein powder and creatine. I blend it all with either whole milk or water. This L-Arginine cannot even be detected where actually my other L-Arginine brand does have a very slight, noticeable chemical taste but nothing “horrible” or “nasty”! You have to mix this in a protein drink and not just stir it in water! Even if you did that it still doesn’t have that bad of a taste at all! And, believe me, I’m an expert when it comes to protein powders and supplements like this for many years as a weight lifter and fitness/exercise enthusiast! This is good stuff! I can’t taste it at all! So, those people who said how disgusting it is, you must be hypersensitive or used to drinking kool-aid or something! I can also tell that my blood flow and energy level is optimal about a half hour after drinking it.

If you are being scared away by the bad reviews about taste or dissolving problems
If you are taking L-Arginine for your heart health or for body building, this is the stuff you want. It has no additives and no hydrochloride (.HCl).If you are being scared away by the bad reviews about taste or dissolving problems, don’t be. If it didn’t have a bad taste, which is not anywhere near as bad as some are claiming, then it would not be pure L-Arginine – the pure stuff has a slightly fishy taste. If it dissolved quickly, it would be modified with with hydrochloride (some claim this inhibits your body’s ability to use it properly). Both problems are extremely easy to fix. Just add citric acid. If you want to get that naturally, use lemon juice. Otherwise, buy a bag of food grade citric acid here on Amazon. I add about the same amount of citric acid as L-Arginine, then add about 8oz of water. It will take about 60 seconds to fully dissolve, and will end up water clear. If you don’t add enough, it will still have a fishy taste. If you add a bit too much it will be sour like lemonade mix (which is the way I like it). Add exactly the right amount and it won’t have much of any taste at all. Best of all, citric acid is very good for you (google “citric acid benefits”). There are some reviews speculating that the addition of citric acid might damage the L-Arginine. Don’t believe them. They are remembering simple physical chemistry from high school. This is actually organic chemistry – yup, the big, ugly, complex kind some of us took in college. Chemically weak acids like citric acid will not harm L-Arginine at all.Bottom line, this is the stuff you want. It’s pure L-Arginine, and the cost per gram is the best you are likely to find.Cheers.

Disgusting taste fixed
Does what it’s supposed to but the taste is absolutely disgusting but if you add 1/4 teaspoon / one gram of citric acid the disgusting taste goes away.

Terrible Taste Makes This Supplement Impossible to Use
I can usually tolerate a bit of unpleasant flavor in supplements, even when they’re labeled “unflavored”—but this one takes it to another level. Even when mixed into flavored water, juice, or a smoothie, the taste is overwhelmingly bad. It honestly reminds me of how fish tank water smells.I’m baffled by the reviews that say the taste is “not that bad”—either those folks have no taste buds or an ironclad tolerance for drinking something truly gross.What makes it worse is that the flavor is so off-putting it becomes hard to build any sort of routine around taking it regularly. If something tastes this bad, you dread using it—and that defeats the purpose of a supplement meant to be part of your daily habit.Save your money and opt for the pill version. Since this can’t be returned once opened, I strongly discourage anyone from trying the powder unless you’re genuinely okay with gag-worthy fishy water. Consider yourself warned.Constructive advice to nutricost:1) Make this L-agrinine powder truly micronized for quick dissolving and have NO flavorOR2) Rename it “Fish water flavored” to be more descriptive of reality

It really works!
I bought this because a friend said it would help “big Jim and the twins” come to attention like they did when I was a younger man. I’m 72 and the want for my wife is still there but ” big Jim and the twins need cialis to make it happen. I’ve been taking it for 2 1/2 weeks and it’s starting to work which brings a smile to my wife!I also ordered a bag of citric acid “food grade” to add to it to give it a lemony flavor instead of a fishy flavor.

Packaging Detracts from a Good Product
Basically you get what you want..a decent product. But a couple of improvements in packaging are needed. First return to the longer handle measuring scoop. The short handle and the big container don’t work well together. Second, figure how to keep the scoop at the top during shipment. Trying to locate the scoop under inches of product is downright messy! 😩 And finally make to 5 gram mark on the scoop easier to see. Better yet, why not make the scoop exactly 5 grams so the user fills the scoop just level with the top as standard measuring spoons have beeb doing fo years.

The taste is very bad, it’s like plastic, I don’t know what, it doesn’t go well with milk or anything. The first time I took it, I vomited. I found an easier way to not reduce the taste, but I forgot about its taste. I take one scoop with a spoon, shake it, and drink it immediately. Then I eat a prune right away.Or any fruit that suits me, plums worked for me. I felt that they washed my mouth of this horrible taste.
