Excellent Quality
Detailed instructions made the first-time usage of the meter / lance and application quick and easy. I really appreciate how it syncs with the app on my phone, so I always have a summary of results available. It is easy to install the strips into the meter, and it takes a minimum of blood to receive a reading. The lance device is standard. The encouraging messages about test results and the bar scale to know where you stand with high / low results is very useful for a new diabetic.

Intuitive setup, simple to use. The lancing device uses a very small lancer that has a very small gauge pin. It’s practically pain free. Twenty plus years of testing, this one of the best I’ve ever used.

The product information states: “Complete Diabetes Testing Kit: Includes 1 OneTouch Verio Reflect Blood Sugar Meter, 30 OneTouch Verio Test Strips, 30 OneTouch Delica Plus lancets, and 1 OneTouch Delica Plus lancing device – everything you need for everyday blood sugar monitoring and testing.” Anyone reading this would believe that this kit includes “everything you need” as it states. In fact, we opened the instruction book and the first thing we read was this:”Available separately:Items pictured below are required but may not be included in your kit.They are sold separately. Refer to your meter carton for a list of included items.”These two items, Level 3 and Level 4 control solution, are not included in the “complete” testing kit. Purchased separately, they add an additional $26.00 to the cost of the “complete” kit. This is absolutely false advertising and should not be permitted. A complete kit, ready for use, should actually be complete.

The ONE TOUCH (Vero Reflect)
Me and my wife use this one touch Verio reflect and as far as accuracy , well my sugar dropped to 32 I was feeling like passing out so I did the test which told me 32 , I always carry a GO2(Kit) with me for low sugar, this machine was right on and my wife has diabetes and hers was 287 which she was feeling a little woozy so she did the test which showed 287, I would say The accuracy is straight up no slow, The test strips seem to work really well I did find out if I don’t give it enough blood, it shows up as put a new test strip in and then once I give it enough blood It reads correctly The lancers that came with the kit do not work for me. I had to use the 23G needle because of my hands have calluses from working but my wife’s it works perfect with what came with the kid with the lances. her hands are basically dish pan hands very soft so it worked extremely well for her. I just wish they had more test strips than 30 there should be 100 there is enough room in that bottle but all in all These units Will be with us for the rest of our lives I did buy a brand new one just for a back up if one gives out and also got extra batteries which is available on Amazon and you get eight of them for a decent price, I don’t know about everybody else, but it really does his job and I don’t care if it’s just one number or two numbers off. It’s close enough for me and my wife that it does save our lives. at least we know what the number say we better get on the ball and do something about it so we don’t have to call EMS. I hope all of your units work, the same as ours because they are a lifesaver. Good luck and keep Lansing.
