Powerful, reliable, and great for everyday use
I’ve been using the Oster Classic Series 8-speed blender, and it has been a great addition to my kitchen. I previously had an older Oster Classic model that lasted me about eight years, so I already trusted the brand and this new version actually feels even better.The 6-cup glass jar is sturdy and much higher quality than the lightweight plastic jars many blenders come with. It blends smoothly, and the 8 speeds give me good control for everything from smoothies to sauces.The motor is strong enough to handle ice and frozen fruit without struggling, and the base feels stable while running. It’s also easy to clean, which makes it convenient for everyday use.Overall, this Oster blender offers excellent performance for the price, simple, durable, and reliable. If you’re looking for something basic that works well without spending too much, this is a great choice.

LOVE THIS BLENDER!!
This is my 2nd Oster blender. The first one (had it 5 yrs.) works just great. I bought this one for my husband’s house so I can make my smoothies there too.It’s a sturdy blender made with glass – so no microplastics coming into contact with food.What I love about it:I like the one I bought 5 yrs ago, and I like this one even better…Oster is a reliable brand that performs well over time.This model IS quieter than prior models, like the customer reviews say.Many setting options is great.Notes on use:> I hardly ever use the high settings. From my perspective, blending a smoothie a little longer, at a lower speed, is gentler on the blades and less noisy than the higher speeds. Perhaps the fact I use it gingerly is why it performs so well over time. So take care of your blender.> I clean it with a brush in the sink. Once in awhile I take it apart and wash the parts individually, but in my opinion, it doesn’t need that kind of deeper cleaning that often.> Another tip: A friend showed me how he cleans his blender and it’s brilliant – he puts hot water in with some dishsoap and blends it! Then rinse & air dry. This is probably the very best way to clean it. But if your chia seeds are stuck in there, use a sink sponge or brush.I will never understand why people spend so much on expensive fancy blenders when Oster makes very good products that do the job just fine at a reasonable price point.

Great quality (not FOR the price but DESPITE the price)
I was planning to purchase a $250 blender but I decided to get this at less than 1/4 of the price. I’m glad I did. It works great. The picture is a thick sturdy glass and is easy to wash.I must mention that for the first two days there was sort of a smell a burning plastic or wires. I may have considered returning had I not already thrown out the box. But now that smell is gone. I know that sounds like something someone might take at least one star off for but otherwise, this is such a high quality and effective blender that it gets 5 stars anyway.

Great value, works great, but is very loud compared to my older model Oster blender
I love Oster products and purchased this one to replace a similar model that is very old but still limping along. This product works well, but it is very loud and actually hurts my ears. It is a great value if you are not noise sensitive. Going to keep using my old, black Oster until it dies and then read more reviews on noise level before purchasing another. Had to return because I’m not going to use it.

I really like this blender. It has strong power and the 8 speeds make it easy to adjust depending on what I’m making. The glass jar is thick and durable, and it doesn’t get hot or scratch. It’s also easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much counter space. Perfect for smoothies, sauces, and everyday use. Great quality for the price. Highly recommended!

Works great for the variety of juices I make
Replaced a 10-12 yr old 14 speed Oster with this one. Works just fine, no issues. This one is labeled as an 8 speed but is actually a 7 speed unless they’re also counting the on/off button? Don’t need all the additional speeds. The wattage at 700 was more important. Also was still compatible with the food processor and glass jar from the old Oster that by the way, I take full responsibility for burning up the motor. 🤷♂️
