Excellent inositol supplement
I have PCOS and I’ve been taking inositol supplements for years, after years of struggling with infertility I attribute the birth of my 2 babies to taking inositol and I swear by it. This is an excellent product and holds up to other supplements I’ve bought that are double the price of this one. The Lifefriend inositol supplement is made in the USA, is non-GMO, is free from many allergens, and has the 40:1 golden ratio that I look for in inositol supplements. It’s a good value for such high quality. The packaging is also top tier, the bottle is so much better than the basic supplement bottles that I usually get, it’s very compact and easy to store or even carry in my purse. There’s nothing I hate more than getting a giant bottle that’s 1/3 full and having to find space in the medicine cabinet for it. The capsules are a pretty standard size and are easy to swallow. It’s easy on my stomach and doesn’t have any taste, although it does have a bit of an herbal smell but it isn’t unpleasant. So far I’m really happy with this brand and product.

Works well so far
I’ve been taking this supplement for about a week, and so far I’m encouraged by how it feels. The inositol ratio is the same one I’ve used in the past, and this formula combines it with several additional ingredients that seem to work well together. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven’t experienced any stomach discomfort or side effects. I’ve noticed my energy feels a bit steadier throughout the day, and my mood has been a little more balanced, which is a good early sign. I also appreciate that it’s vegan and made without questionable additives. I’m planning to continue through the full bottle, but based on the first week, this seems like a thoughtful, well-rounded option for daily support.

This Inositol and red pomegranate supplement made by Lifefriend has worked really well for me. I waited a little over a month to write this review to ensure the changes I feel may actually be related to this supplement.Let’s start with quality – added a photo to show how the lot number, manufacture and expired dates are included on the bottle. Also added a photo of the ingredients ( little hard to read on the gold background) – keep the box as the bottle doesn’t have a separate label with ingredients. These are cGMP and NSE certified with a distributor address in California. The product descriptions says these are made in the USA and are third party tested. With so many Myo-inositol products to choose from, the quality of this Lifefriend supplement seems to be relatively good.The two capsules are easy to swallow, wth no taste and only a slight odor. I take the 2 capsules in the morning with breakfast. Still taking a multivitamin because the extra vitamins in this supplement are water soluble C and B’s, so getting too much is less of an issue for me.There are added ingredients, such as cranberry powder that includes beet root, but the 2 mg is a super small amount – compared to the 250 – 400 mg in most female health related products. Still… cranberries contain oxalates and it’s important to ensure this is an ok supplement if you are taking other meds that might be impacted by oxalates.Even the red pomegranate amount is relatively low at just 10 mg. The extract ratio is not provided. For example, there are usually about two small pomegranates -or 240 mg (a solid) – in one fluid ounce of pomegranate juice ( liquid). So 10 mg of extract may be a really a tiny amount. Given that pomegranate is spotlighted in the name of this supplement, I’d expect more of it in two capsules. If the extract is very high – say 40:1 and that would mean 400 mg of the fruit were used to make the 10 mg in this product and that might make it a bit more potent. Only the Myo-inositol ratio is provided and I deducted a star for not specifying the other extract ratios.In terms of results, I do feel a little more regular and my mood has been good, but not really sure this supplement made a huge noticeable difference – it feels like you need to take this for a few months to see a real difference.Hope the photos and this review help you decide if this is the right PCOS support supplement for you.

Some improvements, will continue taking!
I’m really happy to find an Inositol supplement formulated specifically for PCOS. After years of neglecting my condition beyond taking hormonal birth control, I’m finally starting to give myself a little more support for managing symptoms, including a supplement regimen and some additional medications. I’ve known of and taken Inositol to improve anxiety symptoms in the past. I’ve only more recently learned of its part in helping to regulate insulin resistance and metabolism. It’s difficult to say just yet how effective it is within the scope of the full regimen I’m taking, but the fact that this is GMP-certified, third-party lab tested and GMO-free lends some peace of mind and instills confidence in the quality and manufacturing. No issues with swallowing these or weird flavors/smells. A little pricy at full ticket price, but it appears to be offered at half-off frequently. Improvement in mood and anxiety has been a major pro to getting back on Inositol.
