Bought this after reading zinc is great for acne sufferers. I knew I needed something internal as I was using all types of topicals and it just didn’t seem to clear it up. My skin was so raw, red, dry/cracked, and irritated from constantly using benzoyl peroxide/salicylic acid/retinol/sulfur and no amount of moisturizer alleviated it. I started taking the zinc vitamins May 14th and it’s now almost a full month and I’ve seen such a huge improvement in my skin. Not only have the breakouts subsided, my skin in general has healed and seems way more healthier. A lot of the post-acne discoloration and dark spots have faded and I don’t deal with the overly dried out skin anymore. I take 1 pill every night before bed and supplement it with 2mg of Copper. So far, this has proven the best results in the 5 months I’ve been trying to get rid of this acne. The vitamin absorbs well and I had no side-effects whatsoever.

Seems to work. Taking all at once not recommended?
I find it strange to see 0 complaints about taking the entire pill. Is everyone taking the appropriate level of copper to compensate for all 25mg? I don’t always take it with a lot of food/a meal; and so far I haven’t taken it with a copper supplement (though I just started eating liverwurst with it, which has copper). I think, for over about a week, I started experiencing discomfort in my chest—not sure if that’s from copper depletion, copper detox; or stomach malaise causing a chain-reaction to affect my chest. Even emptying just the small part of the capsule into a drink (today’s the first time I tried that) has eventually caused mild discomfort – which feels along the line of the discomfort felt when taking 25mg (albeit just less discomfort). [Although, there are quite a number of issues any person will be experiencing in their life, coinciding with taking anything new—to create any peculiar/particular new problem.]I must just be really sensitive to some aspect about this supplementation of zinc. Admittedly I should be taking all possible precautions when taking this. This is the best zinc on Amazon, with the least amount of fake reviews, no magnesium stearate (which was near-impossible to find). Beyond a form called Zinc Carnosine, which is Very costly—albeit backed by rigorous study and seems extremely useful against IBS-type issues, which would actually benefit me (though I alleviate my bowels issue simply with the pretty-cheap “Heather’s” Acacia Fiber)—there is no other zinc formulation that seems worthy to take, besides the Orotate form (which, on the market so far, last I checked anyway, has only questionable formulations, or needlessly expensive ones capitalized by the snake oil salesmen of the world). This is all “on paper,” of course. It’d take a long, wasteful time to experiment with every possible zinc form. I might try something else in the future; but this will suffice as I try further to balance myself with this form of zinc, by adjusting all my lifestyle/diet choices.My main goal is to just have a bit more strength in my life, with this formula. Having lost a job and recovering from slaving away at that place, I decided, after getting couch potato anxiety lately, to attempt to balance myself with this zinc again. With further balancing (compared to my months-ago imbalanced approach of haphazardly popping the full 25mg zinc), just today I have confidently decided to work out a bit, with some weights at home, after using only 5mg+ of this zinc; and various other, hopefully healthier life choices, that I’d also been neglecting. (Recovering from painting the outside of the house in near-Summer heat leaves one listless! So it’s to the point of not even eating healthily – particularly if trying to save the most money possible, by not buying the best foods for long whiles at a time.)[Next stop on the healthy lifestyle train: more minerals! More vitamins! It’s crazy how much is neglected when slaving for a blah company. Though you do get some sort of extra health from staying active at said job, it isn’t the most effective way to build oneself up—and you often skip out on these most important consistencies, i.e. the vitamins and the minerals. ‘Just need to pick out a vitamin complex that isn’t expensive compared to the one I was used to, that I felt good when taking – albeit, again, not always consistently – since obviously I have… “less,” money now. Why is this Amazon review box so small? What the hell.]

Great, easty to take Liposomal Vitamin C, especially for the price!
I received this product at a discount in order to try it. I have used other products by Pure Micronutrients before, and have been very pleased with their supplements, so I was excited to see that they have a Liposomal Vtiamin C, and really happy for the coupon to try it. I have been taking Liposomal Vitamin C for about 6 months, and the other brands I’ve taken have been good, but very pricey, and some of them are a lot of trouble to take. I really like the fact that this one is in a capsule–it doesn’t need refrigeration, and doesn’t need to be mixed with anything to take it. It’s very handy, and very easy to take. I particularly like the fact that it is almost half the cost of the one I had recently been taking! I will definitely purchase this again!
