Omg!!! Did you ever have a frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity in NY??? That was the best treat of all time, and this is its PERFECT DUPE! It is beyond delicious! 4 tablespoons in a blender that can crush ice,1 cup of ice and 1 glass of almond milk. I have a ninja blender with an ice crush cycle. It stops when its appropriately crushed, giving that famous frozen hot chocolate from Serendipity that is so darn delicious! My Dr told me to try it as I am having bad side effects from Mounjaro for diabetes. I was stick thin to begin with, but lost15 pounds in 2 months and now size 0 clothes are too big for me. I only weighed 115 at 5″4″ before starting mounjaro!! My hair has been shedding, which is freaking me out and its a side effect of rapid weight-loss which I did NOT need to even lose! My A1c was the problem and it has dropped to prediabetic level from 8.8, so the Mounjaro does work well to lower A1c but my Dr said I needed collagen to build back muscle and get more protein. He did recommend this brand and flavor, and I am so glad I tried it. Its DELICIOUS- LIKE A MAJOR TREAT! Hopefully it will counter affect the side effects of the Mounjaro but if not, it sure is delicious, healty and satisfies sweets cravings! It builds muscle and is good for hair, skin and nails, as well!

Tasty and Economical Collagen
I am satisfied with collagen options available from Amazon. I could not accomplish this another way. I tried adding plain collagen to my diet but did not enjoy planning portions. I needed something high quality, economical, tasty, and convenient. To get a consistent amount of daily collagen, I started using a very tasty but expensive coffee collagen additive. I liked it but decided $8 an ounce was too high a cost. Their small scoop did not provide enough grams of collagen. Adding more made my coffee too sweet and increased the cost. I decided to make my own recipe. I ordered Vital Proteins Chocolate and Vanilla collagens. Also ordered 5 lbs. of unflavored Fernes. All high quality at a lower cost per ounce. I mix plain, chocolate and vanilla together and add a dash of cinnamon per portion. Adding plain collagen makes the portion less sweet. Adjust proportions to your taste. Mine is about equal portions of all three collagens (not including cinnamon). Once I got the combination to my liking, I made a batch of pre mix to avoid multiple containers. I froth the half and half and pour in a mug. Then froth about 30g of pre mix collagen with hot coffee. Warmed cream and collagen coffee mix seamlessly. I add a little Manuka honey to mask the taste of the artificial sweetener in the collagen. The result is a barista like cup of coffee with $3 an ounce collagen that tastes exactly like the more expensive brand. I lost a little weight by replacing white sugar with artificially sweetened collagen. Honey is better for the glycemic index. I found an easy and tasty way to incorporate collagen in my diet at lower cost.

As someone with sensory sensitivities who’s extremely particular about flavors, I was hesitant to try a collagen powder. I was afraid it would taste funky or have a chalky texture to it. That said, I’ve been adding one scoop to my morning coffee and another to my protein shake for the past few weeks, and I’m pleasantly surprised: it has no noticeable taste or smell, and it dissolves completely without clumping or changing the texture of my drinks.I’m giving it 4 stars because the suggested serving size requires several scoops daily, which felt unrealistic for me. Instead I’ve been consistent with two. Even with that smaller amount, I’ve noticed my skin looks smoother and more hydrated, and my hair feels softer and fuller.I began using this to support my collagen levels as a 35-year-old woman focused on aging gracefully, and so far, I’m happy with it. The brand is trustworthy, and I plan to continue using it long-term.If you’re sensitive to taste or texture but want a simple, effective collagen supplement for skin and hair support, this one is worth trying.
