This is my review for Nature’s Nutrition L-Arginine Supplement 1000mg – Heart Health Support – Premium Muscle Supporting Nitric Oxide Precursor Booster for Extra Strength – Gluten Free, Amino Acid Energy Blend For Men – 120 Capsules I ordered this for the husband! He keeps saying he is only 26 and that his body feels like it’s 70 years old and that something isn’t quite right. Perhaps, he said, his battery was a little low!! (kidding). You guessed it! His age IS 70 and he’s right …his energy is low. He reluctantly started on these L’Arginine supplements. It took a while to notice any benefits, if he would admit it. I timed his walks and after a month he had some pep in his step I am happy to say. So, don’t be discouraged just because you are not a young athlete doesn’t mean this isn’t for you! This bottle is 120 capsules and at 2 a day it will last about 2 months. They were easy to swallow and did not cause any GI distress. Nature’s Nutrition is an American brand in Utah. Their supplements are “lab tested”. They do not give any details on this as far as whether testing is inhouse or by a 3rd party. They have a variety of badges shown on this product page and a few on the bottle label. Reading closely, you will see a “BOTTLED in a cGMP facility”, “BOTTLED in the USA”, “GMO free”, Lab Tested”, and the most interesting of the bunch is “SOURCED from a GMP certified facility”.Anyway, not too much information overall. In order to trust that what is in on the label is in the actual supplement. That it is safe and the quality is there. I just have one more thought. Why is this so so inexpensive? At first glance I recommend this. My husband has no complaints…

Interesting combination of l-arginine.
I usually like to take l-arginine right before I go to sleep at night after a workout day to help with recovery and boost natural HGH production, but some people like to use it pre workout to increase nitric oxide and aid in circulation. There have been studies showing effectiveness for each and it’s up to the individual as to whether or not it seems to actually work.It’s inexpensive and I like to use it once in a while, but I have been making a switch to citrulline as that is what l-arginine gets broken down to before it is of any use in the body (according to studies), and it is apparently more effective. It is also broken down in the kidneys rather than the liver which is the case with arginine.This product seems to be priced in line with others I’ve seen but I’m not familiar with this particular company. It’s also interesting that they are combining AAKG with HCL. I usually take HCL but apparently arginine AKG is different and may aid in muscle growth and recovery according to some findings. It will be interesting to see if I notice any difference.This is also actually 1000 mg of l-arginine and 500 mg of citrulline, not 1500 of arginine. Citrulline is what arginine breaks down to and that in turn helps production of arginine in the body in a bit of a circular cycle. I’ve read that combining both may be more effective in producing NO so that may be the goal of this product.It has the usual “bottled in the US” label which means it’s actually produced who knows where but it is supposedly a GMP certified facility. It also says that it is lab tested but doesn’t elaborate on what lab that might be.All in all I wanted to give the combination a try and it seems to be a quality product. It is bottled in a tinted glass container and there where no broken capsules. Four stars for vague testing info and a somewhat misleading dosage listing.

Energy booster!
L-Arginine is a great energy booster. I use it, along with beet capsules, to give me a jolt of energy for work afternoons. A big plus is both those supplements activate nitric oxide which is important for boosting energy and also great for helping improve kidney function. They are also great for cardiac health. They are small and easy to swallow. I’ve noticed a burst of energy in the afternoons, but this didn’t start immediately. It took a few weeks to fully understand the benefits. Highly recommended.

Easy to swallow
As an aging farmer, my lifestyle is more active than many my age, but some days are more active than others. On days when I know I have a lot of physical labor to do I take a couple of these to help my energy level going through it, and to recover better for the next day’s activity. I find them easy to swallow, and a good value.
