    My new obsession.
I think I’ve found my new matcha staple. This is the best matcha I’ve had and it’s going to be difficult for anything to impress me this much. The color is a vibrant green with no signs of oxidation and the texture is silky smooth almost melting at your fingertips. The aroma is floral and nutty with a subtle sweetness. This is a versatile matcha that could work with fruity notes or something more decadent. As an Usucha, it’s very earthy and slightly bitter, but in a good way. It’s not overpowering and it would be great with some sweetness to balance the flavor profile. I think this would also be insanely delicious as a matcha lemonade. As a latte this is kind of a masterpiece. I used a homemade strawberry syrup with milk and I’m fighting the urge for another glass. This matcha is SO refreshing that even in latte form you feel like you never want to get to the last sip. There is a hint of astringency but it benefits the flavor profile and elevates the experience. It is very floral and sweet as a latte which I love and has absolutely no fishy or seaweed flavor but has a mild and balanced umami that you almost miss because of how well balanced this matcha is. I also get some citrus notes towards the end.Overall this is a smooth and refreshing matcha that leaves you feel satisfied.

It smells like heaven, is vibrant green, blends perfectly, and tastes delicious and not bitter!!
Matcha has been all the craze, and as a newbie I had no idea there was so much information online regarding matcha powders. I know it’s apart of Japanese culture, so there’s a lot of history and tradition surrounding it, but on apps like Tik Tok it’s become so popular that it’s created its own separate massive community. I knew it was trendy, but not THAT trendy. Honestly, all I wanted was a matcha latte and I thought making it at home would be simple…but no…I had to use my college level research skills to figure out what powder to even get. It seems like 95% of the matcha powders are sold out because of their popularity, and so it was really hard trying to find recommended powders without spending a lot of money, waiting for long shipping, or stalking websites for restocks…which I really didn’t want to deal with. So, to all of you reading this who are in the same boat, this is a great matcha powder. Buy it!!I made my first drink and absolutely loved it. I can’t handle bitterness and experienced no bitterness with this powder, so if you hate bitter things you’ll love this! (Recommendation: whisk the matcha with cold/room temperature water or milk to make it less bitter! Also, using milk makes it super creamy and sweet tasting. I used oat milk!) There are some reviews saying it smells bad, but I think the powder smells insanely good. When it’s mixed in with a liquid it does smell more earthy, but it doesn’t translate to the taste at all. To me it smells sweet with a nice earthy/floral and nutty tone that isn’t too strong, but just right. The color is a very vibrant green which apparently means it’s higher quality. I had no issues with clumpiness when mixing the powder either.Overall, I’m super happy and super relieved. I was worried it would be bitter and I would not like it, but it’s absolutely delicious. I’m happy I found something that is actually in stock and a decent price for the size, while being super high quality and fairly perfect in all aspects. I can’t wait to experiment with it more!!Also stop overthinking and just buy this matcha powder. If you don’t you’ll end up in a never ending matcha powder research loop like I did.

    This matcha is good!!
This matcha is good, i would say it’s mild. I can taste the matcha flavor but if you put too much milk it’s not as a strong taste. It was not bitter at all, and it was smooth. I had no problem other than i was hoping it was more medium bodied. The color is great. I heard people saying that the powder smells weird but it doesn’t. If you plan on buying it don’t put too much milk and i use 2 tsp of powder every time. I used like 1/2 cup ofmilk after i whisk my matcha and it tastedgood. I would say it’s definitely good for beginners and people who prefer mild matcha but can still taste the matcha flavor.

    Delicious.
I love this particular matcha, smooth and not particularly acidic. I drink it with a splash of coconut milk and love the flavor. It’s also not as pricy if bought in this larger pouch.

    Good matcha!
It’s good, not bad or great just good. It’s very light bodied, flavor kinda gets lost in the milk so def use more matcha & less milk. The color is more of a yellowish green than a vibrant green, but still very colorful! This matcha is not bad at all for its price and you do get what you pay for. It’s very vegetal and slightly umami, not bitter at all. If you like lighter matchas, this one’s for you!

    💚💚💚
I’m no matcha connoisseur, this is my first order of matcha actually! I took forever doing my research. I really wanted the hime one but it’s okay. This one is a good starter matcha I think. Smells very floral which I love and it’s light 💚 amazing paired with oat milk and brown sugar or just caramel vanilla creamer. Will say it seems to not froth as well as a naoki one I tried before. (Also, love that it reminds me of Tanjiro haha) (pretty pls send me your hime one when it’s back so I can review it too and how cute would it be with my pink matcha set thank youuuuu)
