Great water filter!
Works perfectly. I was skeptical as the manufacturer of the fridge suggests only their name brand filter but took a chance and glad we did. It’s 1/5 of the price and the ice and water now taste so clean and crisp. Will reorder when it’s time for a new filter.

Good product at a good price
These worked great on my old Kenmore/Sears Coldspot refrigerator/freezer combo. The learning curve for replacing these cylinders is easy enough. Plenty of decent Youtubes out there showing you how.Although I have read some instructions saying you have to shut-off the water of the refrigerator/Ice-maker before changing out these filters. I’m here to tell you: That is NOT true. You do NOT have to shut-off the water to the refrigerator while changing these filters….at least I didn’t. Yes, you will get a few drops of spilt water while pulling out the old filter, but nothing to worry about. And new filter with it’s O-rings pops right-in with no spillage at all.And once you get the Old filter off, do put it in a sink or plastic bag right away, because it will leak some water, not a lot, but better it leak in a sink or plastic bag than on the floor.

Perfect replacement works like a charm the cap however is super weak that pulls this thing out I wrote a review on the cap I had to repurchase….I recommend watching a video on YouTube first it’s a straight pull out and push in no twisting required…that’s the mistake I made caused it to get stuck. But that’s my fault. Last about 6 months.
